Mashhad Carpet

Our company and Mashhad Carpet, with the aim of producing antibacterial, antifungal, antiodor and non-allergic carpet, started our cooperation in May, 2017. Based on our negotiations, after passing research and development steps and reaching an optimized approach for applying the nanomaterials in the production line without making any complexities in the production, and then doing the industrial field tests, we were able to get the Nanoscale Certificate from Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council. The applied method is a highly efficient with low cost. In this approach nanomaterials are added with a specific weight ratio to dye in the coloring step which makes the yarn be antibacterial. Then, this yarn is sent to the spinning unit and is turned to fiber. Subsequently, fibers are knitted to carpet which shows antibacterial properties. Since nanomaterials are mixed with color pigments, as long as the color of the carpet is stable and does not undergo any change, the carpet will possess antibacterial features. Such carpets are highly applicable in interior designs and public places such as mosques and hotels.

It is necessary to be noted that this carpet is being produced at the moment and there has not been any advertising regarding this product. It will soon enter the market for which the target market consists of Iran, Middle East, East Asia and Europe.
